Taxes

Modern day America finds most people having over 50% of their income confiscated by some level of government. Over the generations, we have morphed from a self-sustaining people to a society that now rely on government to "help" us. Government was not instituted to help, but rather to "protect." Massive tax cuts would be a reality if the people demanded limited, efficient, and effective government. A good rule of thumb is to tax less what you want more of. If you want more income, economic development, and investment opportunities then tax them less.
