Second Amendment

The Second Amendment is clear and concise in its content. Throughout the generations court decisions have tried to weaken its meaning, but the words nor the meaning have never changed. Yet it is often misapplied and abused. Some believe the Second Amendment has to do with the right to go hunting. Not so: We the people have the right to keep and bear arms in order to protect ourselves from individuals and even an oppressive government. I am proud to have received the endorsement of the NRA in my past election.
