Liberty & Privacy

The Constitution was written to restrict the power of the federal government and protect the rights of the people and the sovereignty of the states.  Unfortunately, our liberties are being stripped from us with unconstitutional legislation like the Patriot Act and Real ID, both of which provides warrantless surveillance by the federal government.

For too long, state leaders have shirked their responsibility of protecting the liberty for their citizens. A Governor must be willing to lead the effort to limit the federal government to its constitutionally enumerated powers.  As each state reasserts their Tenth Amendment rights and hold in check the abuse of power of Washington DC , the restoration of freedom will begin.  Bold leadership in this state will create a national resurgence to reclaim our freedom.  Restoring the practical applications of our founding principles of limited government and the expansion can start here in Oklahoma . 

It will take a leader to stand against the status quo and  someone with a proven record for standing up and protecting the Constitution.  As a State Senator I authored The Healthcare Freedom of Choice Act, The Real ID Opt-out Bill, The Freedom Firearm Act, and The Tenth Amendment Resolution. As governor, I will continue my fight for Liberty and protect the freedom’s we hold dear in Oklahoma.  Extraordinary leadership is needed in the governor’s office if Oklahoma is to become the beacon of liberty for the rest of the country. I will be that kind of governor.
