Education
- I think we need to move the funding and control from our schools away from the State and into the our local communities
- Remove State and Federal mandates
- Education is the responsibility of the parent
Providing education is the responsibility of the parents. I believe that the education system is draining too much money from the classroom and the students are shortchanged because of it. More emphasis should be concentrated on classical studies and student performance. Federal and State mandates should be drastically reduced if not eliminated. My desire is to strengthen the relationship with the parent, student, and teacher and lessen the mandates from the department of education.
